Files in Category:Stuffed tigers[edit]
The photographs fail to meet the official guidelines of COM:TOYS, specifically:
- When uploading a picture of a toy, you must show that the toy is in the public domain in both the United States and in the source country of the toy. In the United States, copyright is granted for toys even if the toy is ineligible for copyright in the source country.
There has been no evidence presented that the toys at the focus of this photograph, and named in the category or title, are public domain.
For an in-depth background and explanation of Commons copyright policies, refer to the Stuffed Animals essay.

- Vous semblez bien sûr de vos affirmations ! Si les USA donnent le copyright aux jouets manufacturés en série, alors ....
You seem of course of your assertions! If the USA give the copyright to toys manufactured in series, then .... --François GOGLINS (talk) 21:40, 23 November 2016 (UTC). - Do not you think that the copyright is against the forgeries(imitations) and is not against photos? --François GOGLINS (talk) 19:33, 28 November 2016 (UTC).
- This is a form of the argument that toys are utilitarian objects, so photographs would fall under COM:UA. Unfortunately this was tried in the legal cases mentioned in the Stuffed Animals essay and eventually rejected by the courts. --Fæ (talk) 20:38, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
