File:Stamps Mammals of the Caribbean.jpg[edit]
Modern stamp still under copyright. Philafrenzy (talk) 10:47, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- Keep You didn't even have a look at the information provided. Three of the four photographs used are PD, the fourth was taken by me! The creators of the stamp violated my copyright, not the other way round. --Leyo 12:48, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry, but the page doesn't explain it as clearly as you just have. I am happy to withdraw my nomination. Philafrenzy (talk) 23:53, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
- User:Leyo, could you clarify the Description on the image-page? It says that there is a copyright/license violation, but it isn't clear that the problem is as you described here. As written, it sounds like the violation is the commons file vs the stamp's license, rather than the stamp vs the underlying photograph's license. It needs to be clear that the country is not allowed to place a restrictive license on their derivative work of your share-alike-licensed image. DMacks (talk) 03:44, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
- The German version of the description is very clear about that IMHO. I'm not sure how to phrase it in English in order to prevent that misunderstanding. Could one of you give a try? --Leyo 12:23, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
- User:Jameslwoodward did a bunch of work on it, I tweaked it a bit more. I think we're all done with this DR now? DMacks (talk) 13:32, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
